Return to Play delayed until 22 January

Following on from a meeting with the majority of the clubs within the league tonight it has been agreed to delay the return of the season until weekend of the 22nd January.

This is being done in order to ensure that we can have a safe and fair return to competitive football and the Cork Youth League has committed to do everything possible to ensure the season is completed in full.

Teams playing friendlies must get permission from the League Chariman Sean O Sullivan ([email protected]). Permission will only be given to teams involved in National/Provincial Cups with strict limitations on numbers

Stay Safe and Happy New year to all our clubs, players, referees and supporters.

Cork Youth League Committee

Club Meeting 30 December 2021

An invitation to an online meeting has been sent to all club secretaries for this evening in order to discuss the possible delay to the restart of the season in order to ensure fairness for all teams and ensure all clubs are able to use the majority of their squads.

It is the full intention of the Cork Youth League to complete the season in full.

Any club who have not yet received this invitation please contact Secretary Sean O Sullivan immediately.

Friendly Games

Although the Cork Youth League are advising all clubs to use this Christmas break as a circuit breaker to ensure we can get back to football in January we still want to remind clubs that if they wish to play friendlies then for insurance reasons they must notify the league of any games being played.

Congratulations Denise – Midleton FC
